I was expecting to charge it as soon as it reach 50% of battery life but still on top. Does the X9D get power to charge through the PC USB ports? WebDec 14, 2024 · Same problems - X9D with GRX8. Always range test fine. Random lost signal for usually about 1 sec - as short as .5 sec as long as about 4 seconds. Problems at distances of 400 to 800 foot altitude and range of 500 feet to over 1200 feet. Range and altitude seem irrelevant.

Disconnecting the ribbon cables of the Taranis X9D before first removing the battery will damage your mainboard, rendering it inoperable. The general consensus is that it is the microprocessor that is damaged. Check the voltage of your pack before connecting – voltage should be around 7.6V. You might want to charge it first :) The LiPo Battery connects to the radio by the balance lead.
