Web5 mrt. 2024 · To remove DEF, you need an aftermarket exhaust. DPF replacement or a full replacement. To run a different exhaust you need a tuner with emissions off aka "delete" tunes. Both exhaust & tunes should run you around the $700 mark. I would recommend an upgraded Air Intake as well, which puts you at around $1,000. Web5 feb. 2024 · It's supposed to clear out the EGR and the DPF. Check Youtube. There's a mode you can put the truck in to activate the system to burn off the screen. It takes a while but the truck does itself, the RPM's will go up but you don't have to wait till the system kicks in. Like I said it's just a suggestion. I agree.
