WebDec 26, 2024 · Not sure if this helps but years ago (1960's) my dad and I used to collect peeler crab at low tide near Porthilly, then fish the tide up at the same spot. It was fairly shallow I recall. We had some good bass there. Past catches ( a long time ago ! ) Bass 4lb 4oz , Plaice 2lb 8oz, Mackerel 1lb 10oz, Pollock 6lb 5oz. WebRiver Fishing Fowey.
