The issue is that, it is so entirely random on whether or not you can find the books, it's maddening. Last night, a guildmate and myself started the quest. The fast spawn that allowed for a hearty supply ingots, the fel maps from the balrons, the karma and the fame is what I enjoyed the most. If I needed bt drops, I would go slaughter captains instead.
